Goats are the best! If you're ever in St. Louis, the zoo there has a neat little goat grotto where you can sit on a bench and pet a goat while a goat sits next to you and another is looking over your shoulder and watch a goat clinging to the rock wall. Too cute!
Or you can just come out here to Indiana and there's a little farm down the road where they raise pigmy goats. Cute as hell! Any ideas on what you would name a goat?
My family had 3 acres growing up and we had goats for years -- they're great! Mostly very affectionate and gentle (but sometimes you don't want to turn your back on them as some of them DO like to ram! In a word: Ouch!). Again though, mostly awesome and sweet.
Heifer International is a wonderful way to do something for someone else!
ReplyDeleteDo it!
