Robert Hunt's Dragon in Chains

I few days ago I showed the Dragon in Chains cover. The artist, Robert Hunt, just posted a step-by-step of the painting, including a sculpture he made for reference. Very cool.

I LOVE process photos... so interesting, I like seeing a brief moment into the mind of how an artist approaches a piece. So many different methods out there, this one reminds me a lot of Joe DeVito or Paolo Rivera, makes me want to take up a little sculpting ;)

Robert Hunt occupies a space in illustration that no one else can fill. His work is great, and one can only guess what he's going to do next. Thanks for posting this piece.
