Parka Blogs is dedicated to quick reviews of science fiction and fantasy art books, design , and toys. The book reviews come with lots of pictures and, best of all, a quick video flip-through from beginning to end.

Oh my god. I think I have to have that book now. :x
Thanks for the teaser!
makes me want to do my own little wall-e painting...
Personally I don't find external reviews terribly helpful. Only I can determine what I might or might not like. As such, I always prefer to go to the bookstore & look at the item myself. I've wasted too much money going by other peoples' opinions. An expensive lesson.
That's what I love about the flip-through video. It wont help if you're browsing artits you don;t know, but for all the "art of" books, or artists you are familiar with, it lets you know the size of art vs. text, layout, what images are in teh book. A great help when shopping via Amazon.
It's stuff like this that will keep leeching money out of my bank account. By the way, congratulations on your ASFA Award, Irene.
Nice work Irene,
This will save a lot of disapointment, and boy have I been disapointed in some recent artbooks ordered sight unseen!
Best wishes
P.
