The Scottish Games

Chucking trees must be harder than it looks 'cause only the guy blue tights and blue sunglasses was able to up-end this log. At least that I saw. No mind, it was a great day of falconeering, SCA fencing, classic cars, garden strolling, dueling Ashley MacIsaac step dancing, and goats! And, very oddly, a taxidermied pet collie in the old Westbury manor house. By the way, it does not appear to have sucked to live in the old Westbury manor house...except for the whole stuffed dog thing.

I remember the old Westbury manor house!
That must've been fun. I always enjoy such stuff. I'm particularly drawn to falconry exhibits. Just amazing!

Our Scottish games in the PNW are fairly extensive but we are sadly lacking in falconry! An oversight that I think should be remedied!

There is a great one down in Highlands NC, great place to go. They have a Scottish Tartan museum as well. If you love the leaves changing and all that it is a great place to see that as well since it is in the Smoky mountains. Its also not too far from Cherokee if you like to gamble a bit too :)

Altho I cannot recall any stuffed dogs.
