...next up, Chris Buzelli with "Daymare."
Check out Chris' blog -- it's one of my favorites. Besides great work, it's the perfect balance of final paintings and process materials with just enough writing.

I love this one so much, such a cool little composition. I like how the wolves on the sides just fade away into the back. And how even the bird is drooling, heh.
It's probably true that monsters surround us most when we self-efface and hide from the world. It's a bad perspective issue. Very pretty.
The lighting is awesome!
Chris, u are a Master. your atmospheres, your colors, your WORLD..so AMAZING. I'm always thrilled to come to visit the people, animals, landscapes and the fantastic characters that live inside it. I feel like Alice lost in wonderland, once again.
Keep on do it Chris! keep on let me dream, I don't wont wake up!
Irene, thanks for the awesome post. I'm sure my blog traffic has doubled. (Society Silver Medal - Now, I'm spoiled, I want another next year). And thanks to you all for the wonderful comments. They're a great confidence boost in the morning, better then coffee.
Chris, Wow. As usual your use of color, stance, and especially lighting bring out the emotion of the focused character. You Got "The Goods" my good man.
Chris, The painting is amazing. I love the red of the hands and the the weird glowing dogs.
