Chris Buzelli's MicroVisions

...next up, Chris Buzelli with "Daymare."

Check out Chris' blog -- it's one of my favorites. Besides great work, it's the perfect balance of final paintings and process materials with just enough writing.

(Chris -- Congrats on your Society medal the other day!)

I love this one so much, such a cool little composition. I like how the wolves on the sides just fade away into the back. And how even the bird is drooling, heh.

It's probably true that monsters surround us most when we self-efface and hide from the world. It's a bad perspective issue. Very pretty.

Chris, u are a Master. your atmospheres, your colors, your WORLD..so AMAZING. I'm always thrilled to come to visit the people, animals, landscapes and the fantastic characters that live inside it. I feel like Alice lost in wonderland, once again.

Chris, Wow. As usual your use of color, stance, and especially lighting bring out the emotion of the focused character. You Got "The Goods" my good man.
