Looking for something else, I ran across this sweet YA cover that Chris Sheban did for us. I love Chris's work -- it's more like looking at the memory of an image than the image itself. We never published the book, sadly, but I always liked this painting.

I love this image. It seems simple and lovely at first glance but the more you look at it the more you're rewarded with interesting nuances.
I'm always amazed at the quality of most of YA novels covers.
This illustration makes me want to hang a poster on the wall to just stare at it until I've discovered all its hidden secrets. What beauty!
