Stephan Martiniere on Sidebar Nation

I'm in a cafe and cannot hear this now. Nooes! But ya'll should and take a listen. I envy those Sidebar guys their ease of talking and asking cool questions.

I listened to it. It was ok, but I didn't really learn very much. I did learn that Martiniere voice is deep.

One comment I have to make about the interviewers though - and I noticed this both in the Martiniere and Manley interviews - is that they talk too much. They should just shut up. And their attempts at humour are pathetic.

It would be nice if they asked more in-depth questions of their interviewees, and not just surface questions, especially since the surface questions keep getting repeated over-&-over in print interviews.

I've found them to always be full of real love and admiration for their subjects. Even when I am not familiar with who they are talking to, I appreciate their enthusiasm and get something out of it.

I guess there interviewing style is just not my cup of mint tea. They are enthusiastic. But sometimes it just feels a little forced.

Or maybe it's just that I prefer print interviews more than live. I'm not a big podcast fan.

It's great that you enjoy their interviews!

Sorry about your airport delays. :-(
